Provide financial design and criteria advice.
Prepare preliminary and comprehensive estimates of construction cost and providing such other cost advice as may be reasonably required prior to the commencement of preparing tender documents.
Prepare list of tenderers for approval in respect of Principal Contract tender.
Compile and issue Principal Contract Bills of Quantities for tender procurement.
Review and analyse Principal Contract tenders received, including examining and verifying pricing of Bills of Quantities.
Prepare Bills of Quantities for incorporating into formal contract documentation.
Prepare valuations for issue of payment certificates including calculating, evaluating or verifying fluctuations in costs where applicable.
Prepare monthly cost reports including reporting on estimated final cost.
Attend cost report, site and ad hoc meetings as necessary.
Measure, price and agree all variations including dayworks, site instructions, etc.
Compile the final account, negotiate and finalise same with the Principal Contractor and subcontractors
